Frances Luczak Obituary

Frances A. Luczak (Siwczak), 95, of New Britain passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden. Frances was born on June 4, 1927 in Poland. She was the beloved wife of Jozef Luczak who predeceased her. Frances worked for many years at Pratt & Whitney in Southington, CT as well as Plainville Plating in Forestville, CT, where she was loved by all. She loved to travel when she could and adored flowers. One of her final accomplishments was writing her unpublished memoir. Frances will be missed. Frances is survived by her sons, Chester, Lester, Zbigniew "Ben" and Henry; sister Christina, brother Edward & family in Poland; grandkids Matt and husband Chuck, Melanie & Chester Jr. & Conrad, Henry Joseph & Stephanie, Sara & Andrew; daughters-in-law Rosy, Christine & Colleen; great grandsons Peanut & Bailey Edmonson along with 5 adopted grandsons. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her son, Richard Luczak. A hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 8:30am until 9:30am at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT 06053. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10AM at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
