Kathleen (Farley) Connolly, 83, of Southington passed away on March 26, 2026. She was born on January 31, 1943 in West Hartford, CT to Joseph and Mary Farley and attended West Hartford schools. She attended Central Connecticut State College where she met her husband Glenn Connolly. They moved to Southington after the birth of their third child.
Kathleen worked with CART, a group of Southington residents who were successful in keeping a race track, and later a dog track, from being built in town in the 1970s. She was invested in the schools her three children attended which resulted in her election to the Board of Education for two terms. She retired after many years of accounting and office management and became a hospice volunteer. She loved dark chocolate, UConn basketball, the NY Yankees and playing bridge.
Kathleen leaves her daughter Peg Heretz (Dennis), son Timothy (Chris), grandchildren Mike Connolly (Ana), Tre and Bradan Graney, Kyle Connolly (Taylor), Dan and Abigail Connolly and great-grandchildren Cannon, Paxton and Ryan Connolly, sister Jane Phillips (Reed) and daughter-in-law Betty Waluk Connolly as well as several cousins and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Glenn, son Michael, daughter-in-law Cindy, brothers Joe, David and James Paul, and sisters Rosemary Farley, Paula Guthrie and Ann Farley.
