Frances Siniarski Obituary

Frances "Frannie" Louise (Martino) Siniarski, 82, of Bloomfield, beloved wife for 63 years of the late Stanley L. Siniarski, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, surrounded by her family at her home. Born in Hartford on October 5, 1934, daughter of the late James and Mary (Mazzola) Martino, she was raised in Hartford and had lived in Bloomfield for the last 57 years. Frannie started her career at The Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford and later took a position at the First National Bank in Hartford where she worked for several years. After having children of her own, Frannie left the business world and worked as a teacher's aid at Wintonbury Elementary School in Bloomfield. Her passion for children led her to open her own home day care which she ran for over 18 years caring for many children that still kept in touch with her into adulthood. The consummate family provider, Frannie also worked at Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford catering for meals after services. During her retirement, her passion for helping people led her to volunteer at the Shiloh Baptist Church, Rev. King T. Hayes Soup Kitchen and Clothing Closet for many years. Most of all, Frannie will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family, for her love of children and animals, especially dogs and cats, and for her selflessness in helping others. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield for over 50 years. She leaves a son, Stanley James Siniarski and his partner, Steven Burchell of Windsor; three daughters, Mary Nowak and her husband Henry "Hank" of South Windsor, Linda Guilmette of Bloomfield, and Karen Strumskas of Wethersfield; a brother, James Martino and his wife Barbara of Avon; two sisters, Margaret Derderian and her husband Arthur of New Britain, and MaryAnn Muscillo of East Hartford; a sister-in-law, Jean Pender-Martino of South Windsor; six grandchildren, Jennifer Siegel and her husband Paul of Maynard, MA, Russell Strumskas and his wife Krystin of Hebron, Sandy Strumskas of Windsor, CO, Steven Strumskas of Wethersfield, Ryan Nowak of South Windsor, and Kristina Nowak and her fiancé Crendley Gainey of Orlando, FL; five great grandchildren, Mya, Keira, and Ryder Strumskas, and Gavin and Landen Coiro; and her faithful companion, "Suzie". Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Martino; and a sister, Gloria Montano. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, July 30, 2-5 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 31, 10 a.m., in the chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. So sorry for your loss, loosing a Mom is such a hard reality, but my dear Stan your Mom will never be gone, you see all you have to do is look in the mirror and she is there, listen to what you say and you will realize you said a MOM thing, you will do a Mom thing and realize although your Mom is not here on earth, she is here, in you and your siblings. I know I have done it, your Mom will be up above laughing at you saying I told you so. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. A phone call away if needed, we love you and wish you strength.

Our neighbor, our friend, so many years ago, you are now at peace. Remembering all the good times, backyard games with the kids, jump rope in the driveway, may your family take comfort in the memories and your special love for all the children. Until we meet again.
