Suzanne, I am so sorry to hear about Frank's passing. He was the first person I worked directly with at The Hartford. He became such a great co-worker and friend and I am so glad I got to know him. I actually remember a few times coming to your house where Frank invited my family to see parades in Hartford and taking him to the airport from time to time when you were in Kansas City. Prayers to you and your family, Paul

Frank was such a good friend to my brother and I will always remember our conversations around the porch dinner table at the cottage that we enjoyed with you both so much. His love of Hartford was so strong and provided interesting stories. I am glad Frank was able to bike around the lake area so many summers. Our deepest condolences, Amy and Paul

I was fortunate to get to know Frank when Dave McDonald hired me in 1985. Frank always had a quick wit and was a very decent human being. I witnessed Frank weather the corporate storms and through it all, he remained someone that I respected. Through my own career endeavors and challenges, I think back to what a fine individual Frank was and hope I have been able to measure up in a similar fashion. My thoughts are with Frank's family.

I have been on the receiving end of Frank's generosity, humor, knowledge and passion for cycling and the city of Hartford. His passing will leave many people and organizations bereft of a devoted ally and friend. My condolences to Suzanne and their family members.

Suzanne, I want to offer you and the family my sincere condolences on Frank's passing. No matter what the circumstances, it is always hard to lose a loved one. It certainly seems that you two were able to enjoy an adventurous and fun filled retirement and may the memory of those times bring you comfort. Frank was not only an important contributor to the effort that made the Asset Management Services Division the most successful operation in the history of the Hartford Life Insurance Company, but a friend as well. Some of my fondness memories of him are of walking into his office and asking him actually what it was he did for us. He always had the most uncluttered desk I've ever seen. He would smile and say "you only need to look at something one time in order to handle it". Frank was an all around good guy. May he rest in peace.

Dear Suzanne, condolences to you and your family. I have enjoyed chatting with Frank occasionally on the Morning Ride and hearing from you both about all of your cycling tour adventures over the past decade. I was saddened to learn of his illness when last met and am equally sad to read his obituary today. My thoughts are with you in this difficult time. Remember him well and be well!

Frank filled a room with his height, but made a place for others with his gentle voice. His humor had irony, expressed with a concise wit and amplified with the twinkle in his eye. I shall miss our
impromptu conversations at our elevator. The door would open and shut over and over because Frank, and then I, had so many questions of each other. The serendipity seemed to amuse him, or so I like to think. I will always imagine him in either biking shorts or in the fine haberdashery he donned so well. Its not the same here at 266 . We started as Pilgrims together in this building.... it was a wonderful ride. Rest In Peace Frank Lord.

Suzanne, I am so very sorry to learn about Frank. What a wonderful man, and you 2 provided some of my favorite memories of Connecticut. Days at Old Saybrook with Frank's fabulous cuisine, sharing stories in Florida, enjoying your beautiful home in Hartford.
with love, Jan Cohen
