Franklin Robinson Obituary
died peacefully in his home in Narragansett, RI on February 23, 2015. Calling hours will be this Saturday at NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett, RI from 11:00 to 12:00 followed by a funeral service at 12:00. A memorial service will also be held March 21 at 3pm at Hall High School in West Hartford, CT. Id like to express my deepest condolences to Holley, Frank and family, on your recent loss. Your father touched many lives throughout his career as a coach and teacher. He was an amazing man who educated, motivated and inspired everyone around him. Im very proud and thankful he was part of my life during my High school years. He will be missed by all.

Holley, Rob and family, our thoughts are with you all at this time. I am unable to express all the endearing memories, lessons and benefits again by having you all in our lives. It is near impossible, so I do hope this brings a smile to all. There was the three hour fateful trip from Kent's Hill ME. to West Hartford.

To this day when I work out and do 12 reps of anything my mind never says twelve. It always says team. Thanks Coach Robbie for always putting team first but always caring for us as individuals. You were our Coach, our leader, but it was our privilege to have been taught by you.

Frank and my family go back many years thru officiating as well as having two sons who played for him - always a gentleman! Very well respected by all. There was a Friday night game in Manchester, all the other Friday games were canceled as well as some Saturday's. When asked, the Manchester coach said "Frank asked that we get the game in because there was a family wedding on Saturday. Just for Frank I would do this"
He touched and influenced many lives!

Dear Robinson family, Coach Robinson was such a positive influence to me personally. I remember him as the gentle giant, a teacher I respected and admired so much. He will be missed by many from the great and last class to graduate from the "old" Hall High. God bless you all and may your wonderful memories sustain you through these difficult times.
