Cathy & Family,
I have known your dad for 30 years both in and out of work and spent many Sundays for the last 12 - 14 years with him at the shoots. Fred, Benny W & I were the guys to beat and had a great time at it. Come September, it just won't be the same. I still remember the old worn & partially broken shotgun Fred would bring with the red tape on the stock. He called it "Old Faithful". I asked him this last season if he still had it and he said yes, he could not get rid of it as he had won many turkeys with it. I have other fond memories but I wanted to share one with you. You and your family have my sympathies in your loss.

We are so sorry for your loss. How much can one person take. Sorry you had to be so far away when you got the news. I know your drive home had to be hard.

Dear Dad,

I'm still having a very hard time adjusting to the fact that you're gone. No more breakfast's at Hotcake's, lunch at the Lucky Strike or holiday dinners at Rose's & Judy's houses. No more camping trips to our places in NH and VT, no more salt water taffy, fudge or 100% Vermont Maple Syrup. I'll miss our conversations sitting around the campfire while my Billy made our Filet Mignon on the grill.

Driving home from South Carolina after I got the news was one of the hardest trips home I've made since Billy died. How can our family deal with so much loss during this last year? At least we can take some peace of mind in the fact it was quick and you felt no pain.

Dad, we all miss you so much but we know you're with your beloved Nancy again, where you should be to spend eternity with. Now we have another Angel to add that's watching over us...

Love you always,

Your #1, Cathy
