HODGE, Frederick M., Jr.
Frederick M. Hodge, Jr. died on August 19, 2013, in Crofton, MD. He was born in Hyannis, MA on March 22, 1934. He was The son of Frederick M. Hodge and Persis Canfield Hodge. He graduated from Harvard in 1955 and then served in the U. S. Air Force including posts m Honolulu and Manila. Frederick lived in Windsor, CT, for many years and had a lengthy career at The Aetna Insurance Company. He enjoyed classical music and books, especially history and biography, as well as model trains. He spent summers in Unity, ME, and enjoyed power boating and tree care. In 2009, he moved to Annapolis and then to Crofton, MD. He loved visiting family in Maryland. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Hodge Thouin, of Crofton, as well as three nephews and their families: Paul Thouin and Abigail with sons Abraham and John all of Eldersburg, MD, James Thouin and Tanis, with sons Parker and Ryder, of Tucson, AZ, and Mark Thouin and Audra, with daughter Anna, and son, Matthew, of Allen, TX.
Funeral arrangements are private. Burial to be in Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit, MA.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Fred. Fred was my manager when I worked at the Aetna during the 70 years.
He was a approachable and down to earth type of person who was fair to his employees.
