WOOD, Lena Alta
Age 91, of Mansfield, PA, died Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Lena was born February 3, 1919 in Roseville, PA, a daughter of Ira and Eula (Brace) Giles. She was the wife of the late Joe L. Wood. Lena was a member of the Mansfield United Methodist Church. Lena is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Donna Wood of Lawrenceville, PA, Arland and Diane Wood of Blossburg, PA, Gary and Debbie Wood of Correyville, PA; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joan and Paul Coldiron of Mesquite, TX, Sylvia Welch of Mansfield, PA; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister, Myra Smith of Elmira, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe; one sister, Lettie Mitchell; two daughters, Christine Snyder and Patricia McCoy. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Joy Hulslander officiating. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, 61 Memorial Gardens Rd., Mansfield, PA. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
