Dear Sonya, Jill, Mr. Green and family,

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of your dear mom. She was such a warm, caring and loving woman. Whenever I would see her at various church events in the Greater Hartford Community she would always give me the warmest hug along with a beautiful smile. Please know that my son, Emmanuel (Manny) also sends his condolences to his friend, Matt Noble. I pray that God continues to wrap his loving arms around all of you during this difficult time.

Peace & Blessings,

The Entire Green Family,
My deepest condolences during this difficult time.
I taught with Mrs. Green many years ago
at SAND School in Hartford. I learned so much
from her. She always had such a kind heart,
and really loved and cared for the students.
She and my mom, (Odell Martin) grew up together in Hartford
and it was always such an honor for me to teach with her.
May God Bless Mrs. Green, I am sure the
Lord is well pleased and is saying, job well done!

My sincere condolences to Mr.Green and the entire Green family. I am, unfortunately, away and therefore will not be at the service. So, a few words ...Gerry was someone I gravitated to when assigned to teach at Weaver High School. She was always witty and honest. I appreciated that especially, as well as admired the respect she held. I know she is now with her Lord in peace. Hoping the family will find comfort and peace as well.

I first met Gerry through her daughter, Kelly. Kelly and my daughter were friends from Noah Webster School. I picked my daughter from a playdate at their home. It only took me a few minutes to see that she had a heart of gold. Heaven has a fine woman who will be dearly missed. May God's peace wrap your hearts with His love.

Sonya, Kelly, Mark, Jill and Mr. Green,

There are no words to describe your mom and wife. I'm thanking God for the honor to have been under her tutelage. She was always loving, caring and offered sound advice. She had enough love to share will all of us.

I remember my Saturday mornings volunteering with her at Aetna's Saturday academy. The kids loved her and knew that they had to be prepared for her class.

May God comfort you during this time.

Much love,

Sewanna Griddle
