PARKER, Gregory Anthony Leon The All Faith Memorial Chapel of South Windsor regrets to inform you of the passing of Mr. Gregory Anthony Leon Parker, 24, of Hartford, who departed this life on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut to Debra Parker and Steven Flynn. Anthony attended public school in Simsbury, Connecticut and he later received his high school diploma. Anthony enjoyed listening to music, and restoring vehicles, as he was a real car enthusiast. Anthony enjoyed sports too, both as a younger child and in high school where he played high school football until his senior year. Anthony's most favorite pastime was spending time with his three year old daughter, Ashari Bre-Asia Monet Parker, who is frequently or commonly called "Little Anthony" by close friends and family. Surviving to cherish his precious memory is his daughter, Ashari Bre-Asia Monet Parker of New Britain; his mother, Debra Parker of Windsor; his father, Steven Flynn of Windsor; his maternal grandmother, Annie M. Parker of Bloomfield; his paternal grandmother, Ada Flynn of Newington, his brothers Christopher Parker and Darryl Spence of Windsor, and Danny Flynn of Windsor; his sisters, Jennifer Flynn of Newington, and Cristina Flynn of Windsor. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Leon Harris, and his paternal grandfather, Charles Flynn; and his great grandmother, Annie B. Rookwood, affectionately known as "Granny." He also leaves special friends, Ashley Walcott and and Glen Heaven, and a host of other relatives and friends. Anthony's life will be celebrated Thursday 11 a.m. at MT. Olive Church Minintries, 20 Battles St. Hartford, with visitation from 10 am. Burial: Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield.
