EVERY, Harold
Harold Every,78, of West Hartford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Governor's House in Simsbury. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Daniels) Every for 53 years. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late William and Zelda (Lemkin) Every. Hal resided in West Hartford the better part of his life. He was a graduate of Hartford High School and attended Ward School of Electronics at the University of Hartford. Hal proudly served in the Korean war as an officer in the Army. Hal was dedicated to his work as a commercial real estate broker and developer and succeeded in his career where he established the firm of Rutenberg & Every. Along with his wife Marilyn, he leaves his daughter Lauri Every of West Hartford, his daughter Judy Every and her husband Spencer Jurman, and his two beloved grandchildren, Hunter and Kylie, all of Scarsdale, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford followed by a service at Fairview Cemetery in West Hartford. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday only, immediately following the service, at the home of Lauri Every, Governors Row, West Hartford. Donations may be made to the Connecticut Chapter American Parkinson's Disease Association for "research only", 27 Allendale Drive, North Haven, CT 06473.
