He enjoyed teaching, and was an instructor for the AARP Driver Safety program from 2005 -2008. At the time of his passing he was president of the condominium association for the Regency at Berlin. He lived in Rocky Hill for 22 years and was also a resident of Manlius, NY, and Miller Place, NY, before returning to Connecticut for the last 10 years. Harry never severed his Maryland roots. Thinking of you all today as you celebrate Harry's life. We enjoyed knowing him. He was always fun to visit with and seemed to often have a new electronic gadget to show. I know you will all miss him, but hope all the good memories will sustain you.

Lynn and Neal -- I remember the many Lions' Club events we participated in toegther. Our fathers were good friends -- he always had a joke or story to tell. I recently saw some pictures in my father's Lions' club yearbook from when he was president - I'm sure your father has one too!
I hope all is well with you and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Lynne & Neal; My thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember visiting your house while we growing up, hearing your mother and father laughing, they both had a great sense of humor. I remember your dad teaching me First Aid and then Advanced First aid, along with being the president of RHVAA when I started there. He will be missed for his love, compassion, wisdom and humor.

Dear Fisher Family, Harry was my General Agent when I entered the life insurance business in 1969. I still have the Fidelity Captains Club chair that he awarded me concluding my first year under his mentorship. Harry was First Class, always could bring some sunshine to a rainy day, and had a great sense of humor. Not sure if I met his loving wife, Willi, BUT everyone knew who was #1 in his life. To become successful in the insurance business one needs an accomplished and dedicated mentor, and Harry was just that. May God Bless, Bill and Joan Cooper Naples, FL
