HAYLEY ELIZABETH PETIT Hayley we celebrate your 19th birthday. You would be rowing for the Big Green at Dartmouth and spending beautiful fall afternoons on the Connecticut River. You were stolen away from all of us in a heinous act of brutality and the judicial system still delays justice, though we are sure there never can be true justice served for any of us here in this life. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19-20 During your life you were always kind to all and always thought of others first. You can no longer be hurt and you can only continue what you did here-working hard, being kind, and helping others. "Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." Antoine de St. Exupery Abby is leading the volleyball team to nice victories and the cross country team is better than ever. Abby, Andrew, Brooke, Michael, Tristan, Paige, Jacob and Molly all miss you. You gave your all in everything you did whether it was being a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teammate, or a student. I miss you terribly everyday and hope that I see you again soon. All my love. DAD

Dear Dr Petit, only God knows why he has left you here alone to carry on the good works and deeds of your wife and family. Please know that many that you do not know, pray for you and hope that you will find again, meaning in this life that God has given you. There is a purpose that maybe yet, you do not see. Dr.Petit, I just wanted to let you know that you have a great and awesome destiny that God ordained for you and only you to do on this earth and I wanted to encourage you to never give up and give in. You will finish the race and bring great glory to God! Your wife and daughters are in heaven and you will be with them again. The time you have left here on earth without them is only a glimpse compared to the eternity you will spend with them. Until then I leave you with 2 Corinthians 4 VS 8-9 "We are pressed on every side by troubles but not crushed or broken. We are perplexed because we dont know why things happen as they do but we dont give up and quit. We are hunted down but God never abandon us! There is is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you and the tragic loss of your family. I grew up with great memories at my grandparents home on Still Hill Road in Mt. Carmel.
