Helen Peters

Helen (Bridges) Peters, passed away Tuesday, (November 18, 2003) at Hartford Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John Smith and Essie Mae Woods. She was retired from the Rocky Hill Veterans Hospital and also worked at Hillside Manor a number of years. She is survived by her sister, Anna Belle Williams; three grandsons, Zachary, Lennie and Shamar Bridges; ten great granchildren; two special friends, Mattie Gary and Lawra Dawes and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Peters; daughter, Charlotte Bridges and granddaughter, Andrea Bridges. Funeral services will be Monday, November 24 at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 222 Barbour St., at 7 p.m. with calling time one hour prior to the service at 6 p.m. Clark, Bell & Bell has charge of arrangements.
