Helen Torento Obituary
Helen N. Torento, 84, of Farmington, CT died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General. Helen was born in New Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Raphael and Irene (Bendrick) Ganunias. She worked as a Branch Manager for Wachovia for several years. Helen is survived by her son - Arthur Fiorillo, Jr. and his wife Susan of Bristol, CT, her sister Irene Sova of Boyerstown, PA, her grandson Robert Nichols of Washington, D.C. and her nephew Jeffrey Drake of Virginia. Helen was predeceased by her husband Joseph Torento. Funeral rites for Helen will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 at 10 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 425 Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Directions to funeral home - I-84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienemann Rd) right off exit - one mile down on right.
