Henry R. Alberti

ALBERTI, Henry R. Henry R. Alberti, 79, of New Britain Road, Kensington, the widower of Mary Rose (Rocco) Alberti, died Thursday evening (April 5, 2007) at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Kensington, the son of the late Albino and the late Genowefa (Paganetti) Alberti, he owned and operated Cy and Henry's Sunoco Service with Cy Waznia until his retirement, and was a member of St. Paul Church, and the Knights of Columbus Monsignor Greylish Council. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Rose Alberti of Kensington; a daughter, Laura Alberti of Clarkston, Georgia; two sisters, Gilda Alberti of Kensington, and Margaret Dahlgren of Cromwell; a granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Alberti; and two loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, John, Alfred, and Leo Alberti, and a sister, Sylvia Domkowski. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway in Kensington, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Church on Alling Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
