Ione Kuether Obituary
Ione Margaret Miland was born Sept. 8, 1940, to Edwin and Frieda (Witte) Miland of Wykoff. Ione was educated in the Wykoff, Byron and Spring Valley school districts and graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1959. Ione was married to Arbie "Sandy" Rodrick in July 19, 1959. They had three children, Kenneth (Julee), James (Melissa) and Robyn (Chris), but divorced in 1973. Ione married Jerome "Jerry" Kuether on June 3, 1975. Jerry had two children from his first marriage, John (Lisa) and Linda (Brad). Jerry passed away on Oct. 4, 1992, after a battle with cancer.
Ione and Jerry loved to camp and travel. They also loved to go dancing. After Jerry's passing, Ione loved to read and watch her favorite TV shows. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino with her sisters. During her last years, Ione spent a great deal of time with her siblings, Marian, Elaine, LaVonne (Dicka), LaRonna (Cunnie), Eddy and David.
Ione is survived by her sons, Kenneth, John and James; and her daughters, Linda (Heath) and Robyn; her siblings, David, Edward, Elaine (Hoopes) and Evelyn (O'Dell); and her 12 grandchildren.
Services were held.
