Jacob Rosenfeld Obituary

ROSENFELD, Jacob "Jack" Jacob "Jack" Rosenfeld of San Rafael, CA, formerly of Simsbury died Tuesday (April 22, 2008), in California, where he had enjoyed ten happy years. The son of the late Samuel and Molly Rosenfeld, Jack leaves his wife of 53 years, Elaine; two sons, Jonathan and his wife, Arlene, of Dover, MA and David and his wife, Donna, of Rocky Hill and a daughter, Ellen and her husband, Bruce, of Gloucester, MA. He also leaves two sisters, Selma Levenson of Sarasota, FL and Claire Novack of Fort Myers, FL. Jack was a wise and honest businessman, working 20 years at Sweet Life in Windsor Locks and earlier as a partner with Joseph B. Cohan and Associates in Worcester, MA. A lover of good food and wine, Jacob appreciated ballet, travel, and sports. He enjoyed gardening, reading, and music, as well as telling a good joke or engaging in a lively debate. Memorial donations may be made to "That Man May See," 10 Koret Way, Box 0352, San Francisco, CA 941143-0352.

Many great memories of Jack during my Sweet Life years. When you work with someone a long time, you get to know them and I have often wondered what happen to Jack over the years - now I know. Thoughts to Elaine, Ellen, & Jonathan who I remember from years ago.
