Miss Jones was my Spanish teacher my senior year at WHS. She let me do independent study writing songs in Spanish (Un Cuento Chistoso and La Ventana) which she had me share with the Board of Ed. We learned much more than speaking Spanish, lots of culture! She challenged me!
Blessings always.

Miss Jones is the reason I majored in Spanish studies in College. She was a wonderful teacher!
May God Bless and comfort all of her family and friends in this difficult time.

Ms. Jones was a Spanish teacher of mine at Wethersfield High School until I graduated in 1997. I really enjoyed her classes and I loved her stories about her travels (and about Jorge)! Although saddened by her passing, I am happy to see that in the 20+ years since I've seen her, she stayed active and continue to share herself with the community. My best to her family.

I remember miss Jones fondly, from grammar school where she taught us with puppets through high school. She was a dedicated and terrific teacher. Even though I wasn't the best student!

Jackie was my Spanish teacher at WHS, and was one of my favorite teachers. She allowed another upperclassman and I do a separate independent study format, and she always treated us with respect and as being more mature. She was refreshingly direct, and she had a great sense of humor. She also gave me great advice as well.
Such a wonderful & classy lady.

She was a wonderful, kind, patient teacher. Had Ms Jones in both Wethersfield's jr high n high schools. She is a reason I took Spanish for 10yrs n it lead me to studying under the renowned Spanish poet, Gomez Gil for 2 yrs! For that, I will always b GREATFUL!! RIP, MS JONES!!
