I will always remember Jimmie with fondness. He always approached the world with a twinkle in his eye and a sense of mischief when he we were in school together. I was lucky to see him again at our 25th high school reunion. He had not changed! I know his family and current friends will miss him. My sincere condolences go out to you.

I've know Jim for roughly 30 years. He did the masonry work on my building projects for about a ten year span. He was a true artisan at his craft of which he took great pride. His sense of humor was second to none and was an expert in assigning nick names to people.I remember on more than one occasion trying to complete the lyrics to the Working Man Blues at the State Line, don't think we ever did.I wasn't able to attend his service but want to extend my regrets to his family of whom I know many members. On a final note, Jim if your listening please leave a piece of tape on the lock of the pearly gates for me!

I've known Jimmy for over 20 years. I've had many heartfelt conversations with him and many good laughs have been shared. I learned so much from him and very much appreciate his talent and creativity. It was always fun to see him on the job and raising his boys into his proud family business. A wonderful man will be missed by so many. My family's thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family.

Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. We will remember Jim for his outgoing personality and zest for life. I personally will always remember how he'd kick our butts in horseshoes at the reunions. The man was a true artisan when it came to masonry. He will be missed.

Jim was a fine man, husband, mason, and friend, and I can think of no better things to say about anyone. He should have charged me twice what he did when he built my fireplace based on the time it took, but in reality it took so long because we were laughing the entire time he was at the house. Some folks muddle through life in a sour mood, but Jim delighted, actually reveled in it, and was the only person I knew who liked to go to sleep before i did. He has left his mark on the world, and it is good and endearing.
