Jim was the epitome of a scholar and a servant wherever he was! "To whom much is given, much is required." Luke 12:48. Jim gave above and beyond to his family, his work and his church. He will be gloriously welcomed into heaven!

Jim Lloyd was the big brother I never had. I only saw him during his family´s summer visits to Blakeslee´s family cottage on Lake Michigan, but they were good visits, full of cheer and good fun. He had a patient and attentive ear, enjoyed good humor and his counsel, when sought, was measured and spot on. To me, he was the standard by which a good man could be judged. All of us enter this world with return passage guaranteed, that date known only to God. What is important is the time we have and what we do with it. James Lloyd certainly made the most of his time and we are all of us the better for knowing and living and loving with him.
