John and Angela, you have our heartfelt condolences. Jimmy was a great person. He was a proud veteran of World War II, a fine journalist, and most of all, a warm, caring man. I was glad to have him as a friend, and I was proud to have him as the best man at my wedding. I have so many memories of Jimmy, and they're all good. He was a positive, friendly, genuine, and intelligent person, and he's going to be missed for a long time to come.

Dear John
You don´t know me but my Dad Frank Birmingham flew with your Dad on the Briney Marlin. Our dads were good friends and went to a lot of 2nd Air Division conventions together. I met your dad a long time ago at my Mom and Dad´s 50th wedding anniversary in 1996. What a lovely man! My dad passed in 2016.
On behalf of our entire family, we send our condolences.
I am part of an organization- Heritage League that keeps the legacy and memory of the 2nd Air Division alive and we will remember you dad in our next newsletter under folded wings.
If you want to see a copy of the newsletter feel free to email me at [email protected]
Thinking of you Turing this difficult time.
