James Jessie Patman, Jr., 54, of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Hartford on February 20, 1964, son of Sandra Patman of Manchester and the late James Jessie Patman, Sr., he was raised in Hartford and moved to Manchester with his family 39 years ago. After high school, James worked in sales for most his career. In his spare time, James enjoyed fishing in the local rivers and lakes and in Long Island Sound and watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, James will be remembered as a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren who brought him so much joy. Besides his mother, he leaves six children, James Eugene Patman of Windsor, Mercedes Patman of Hartford, Shante Patman of Vernon, Charnelle Patman of Vernon, Danielle Willis of East Hartford, and Jakeem Patman of Vernon; two sisters, Rhonda Patman of East Hartford and Doris Patman of Manchester; ten grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 11 a.m.–12 Noon, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon, at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor.
