Southwick, MA - Janice E. (Haiko) Colagiovanni, 68, loving mother and grandmother passed away on Friday Dec. 13, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Calling hours are Tues. Dec. 17th from 4 to 6 PM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway in Southwick, MA followed by a 6 PM service in the funeral home. Burial is private. I will miss Auntie Jan very much. She holds a special place in my heart as do all of my family from my dads side. Auntie Jan was a wonderful person and i'm glad I could call her family! Rest In Peace and lots of love.

I feel so blessed to have known Jan. She was always there with a warm laugh and words of encouragement for anyone who needed it. Her happy spirit and willingness to lend a hand were uplifting. Jan was loved by everyone at Kohl's, and she will be greatly missed.

Jan will be greatly missed. I will always remember her at our annual family Christmas party with her hands in the soapy water, eyes scanning the room for an abandoned plate, and the towel over her shoulder! Not that she didn't like to have a good time; she and her sisters would laugh to the point of tears at the antics of their two very comical brothers! Those memories are forever. She was a proud mom and grandmother, and a great person. We loved her and will miss her.

Lynn & Christine and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom/ grandmother. I had the honor of working with your mom at Kohl's in West Spfld. and I always enjoyed are times together in the office complaining about the paperwork for repack and how stupid people were using the time clock. Your mom taught me so much and no matter how many times I had to ask her to help me with the computer she always did it without ever making me feel dumb. (And it was a lot) Jan will be missed by everyone at Kohl's and we will never ever forget her!!

Jan was the heart beat of store 639 She used to laugh when I said that but it was sooo true!! We miss her dearly!!
