Javier Baez Obituary
Javier Baez, 27 of Hartford passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2014. a graduate from HPHS (2005) CCC (2010) ESCU (2013). He is survived by his mother Maria Baez., siblings: Yolanda, Evelyn, David, Louis, Juan, Andrian, Yan. Nieces & Nephews: Chris, Trinere, Lynese, Genesis, Jonathan. Birth Parents: Wanda & Daniel. Funeral services will be held at DeLeon Funeral Home, 104 Main St. Htfd on Sunday 6/29/14 & Monday 6/30/14 from 8:30-9:30am followed by burial at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, CT.

Javier was kind and always cheerful when worked together years ago. This loss is very shocking for many and its my hope that the family will gain some peace during this time. My prayers are with you always. Rest peacefully Javi

I am praying for the Baez Family. I am in shock. I just found out . Gone too soon. I met Javier through my son Justin Bailey. They are the same age and they attended Capital together and played football together. I had the pleasure in helping him and Justin get a temporary position at the State of CT/DEP when I was working there. They were like to bookends. Justin being African American and Javier being Puerto Rican. We were renovating the file room and it was a lot of work and Javier was an excellent worker. I found him to be kind, courteous and always smiling. I could tell that he was driven and had a love for education and for succeeding in life. It was a pleasure knowing him for the short time that I did. Whenever I saw him usually in the Downtown Hartford area, we both was always glad to see each other. He was always positive and handling his business. R.I.P. Much Love, Ms. Rosa

I was shocked to find out that you left us too soon! I will miss u. You are definitely an inspiration to me, and to a lot of people. Despite all of the struggles, and challenges you've encountered in life, you still remained positive, and strong. You always had a smile on your face, or was always laughing. I'm glad to have walked the stage and graduate with you at both Capital Community College ('10) and Eastern Connecticut State University ('13). I will cherish all of the memories we've created…especially living on campus at ECSU. They were fun! I know you're in a better place now, with God and the rest of the angels. Rest In Peace. And I pray for your family and friends too. This is hard...

I am speechless in discovering this news. He was a good friend of mine and the times we spent together were memorable. Both me and my husband knew that he had a very big heart and was a great person to spend time with. Always made us laugh and was always happy. You are gone but never forgotten.
