SOUCY, Jeanne
Jeanne (Levesque) Soucy, 87, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday (December 3, 2011). She was the beloved wife of the late Lucien G. Soucy. Born in Grand Isle, Maine, she was the daughter of Joseph and Lezzyanne (Dufour) Levesque. She leaves behind a son, Roger Soucy of West Palm Beach, FL; daughters, Kathleen Lapointe and her husband Jerry of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Omerine Marino and her husband Michael of Newington, CT, Theresa Smith and her husband David of Enfield, CT; brothers, Lucien Levesque of Wethersfield, CT, Roland Levesque of Madawaska, ME; sisters, Mildred Raymond of Madawaska, ME, Dolores Broadwell of Eastham, MA, Jeannine Lajoie of Largo, FL; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Roger Levesque and Harold Levesque and two sisters, Doris Dumond and Norma Morneault.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Rose Hill Funeral Home has care of arrangements. The family expresses their gratitude to all the Oncology Department staff at the University of Connecticut Health Center, especially Dr. Tannenbaum, Carmel and Kristi. Also, special thanks to Katie for her skilled and compassionate care from hospice. Memere (who is my great grandmother) i love you so much i am going to miss you i loved talking with you doing crosswords with you and just plainly being with you i am happy i have good memorys to remeber you by i know you love christmas tree shop so i hope that there is one in heaven well if not soon there will be Memere needs her christmas tree shop anyways i miss and love you Memere <3 <3 :) :)
