I just read about Jean's passing and was so sad to read about her passing. I learned so much from Jean and Sebby as we marketed Colonial Chester and beyond. God speed, lovely lady.

I also remember Jean from my years at Westside Market! We always talked of her family, how much she loved her kids and grandkids.. She was a hand on Grandma! I'm so sorry she has passed away. I will always remember what a good person she was, and that she raised great kids! Even though she no longer owned that huge house on New Britain Ave. I always think of her when I drive by. My sincere sympathies to you all!

I was so sorry to read of Jeans passing. I had many great conversations with Jean as we would be picking out her glasses or repairing Sebby,s,as she always did. She always spoke so proudly and lovingly of all her family , which many of you, I also got to know as well. Your beautiful family is a testament to the love she spread to all of you. She will surely be missed. I´m so sorry for your loss, my condolences to all her family.

To all of Mrs. Romano's family. I was sorry to read of the passing of Jean. I met Jean many years ago while taking care of her parents at Maple View Manor. She loved her parents dearly. Jean was very friendly and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Jean was always there for everyone and asked for nothing in return. Always had a smile and loved joking with the staff. She was a very hard working woman. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this sad time. May she R.I.P.

Mr. Rouquie, Mrs. Veneziano and families -
I worked at Westside Market for 16 years and at least once a week, Jean would be one of my favorite faces to see. She would always check in at the desk to ask me about school, how my family was doing and excitedly share fun news about her grandkids achievements. There were some customers we would always wait for; Jean was one of them. Her kind smile and warm demeanor was always a pleasure to be in the presence of. I have run into Jean from time to time since and was greeted with the same lovely welcome as if time had not skipped a beat; these run-ins I will certainly miss.
Thinking of you all with love and hugs. May the happy memories you hold in your hearts, surround you and bring you peace.
Best always,
Courtney
