John Joseph Adorno

John Joseph Adorno of Rocky Hill passed away on May 19, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Josephine Adorno, John is survived by his wife Maria Adorno, son Giovanni Adorno and grandson Jasio Adorno as well as sisters Joyce Adorno, June Olson and Janice Harvey, Aunt Rolena Adorno and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.  John's humble nature and genuine kindness touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He showered his family and friends with love, displaying a tender and caring spirit that was truly unparalleled. Deeply rooted in his faith, John's unwavering devotion to God was the bedrock of his life. Growing up in Berlin, CT. John demonstrated an affinity for automobiles and small engines at a young age. When his father, Joseph Adorno, opened Center Paint and Hardware, he was a natural fit for the small engine department. With a reputation for honesty and reliability, John passionately supported community members. He generously shared his expertise, offering guidance and encouragement to anyone in need. Through his dedication, the store was a haven for both professional and DIY enthusiasts, testament to John's knowledge and commitment to excellence. A graveside burial will take place at West Lane Cemetery, 741 High Road, Kensington on Thursday May 25th at 2PM.
