DOYLE, John "Jack" B.
John "Jack" B. Doyle, 70, of Glastonbury, beloved husband and best friend of Marion (Botelho) Doyle passed away Thursday, (March 29, 2012) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born August 22, 1941 in Hartford son of the late Robert F. and Genevieve (Blake) Doyle, Sr. he lived in Windsor for most of his life before moving to Glastonbury in 1983. He founded C.W.I. (Curtainwalls & Windows, Inc.) in 1987 and served as its President and CEO until his retirement in 2009. Under his direction, it grew from a small start-up to a multi-million dollar business employing 30-40 people. C.W.I. has worked extensively on the Yale campus, replacing or restoring over 20,000 steel windows and leaded glass panels in a number of university buildings over the past 17 years. Among their most memorable trips was a journey to Antarctica where he walked with the penguins. He was known as "Mr. Fix It" around the house. With all of Jack's accomplishments and activities, his family was most important in his life. Beside his wife, Marion, he is survived by his three children, John B.
