John G. Grecki

GRECKI, John G. John G. Grecki, 45, of New Britain, died Monday, (February 19, 2007) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Landon) Grecki. Born in New Britain, son of Ksenia (Konoplicki) Grecki, of New Britain and the late Joseph Grecki, he was a life long New Britain resident. John was a member of Holy Cross Church, New Britain and co-owned and operated Grecki Paving, Inc. for many years. Beside his wife and mother, he leaves his son, Joseph Grecki, of Burlington; his brother, Charles Grecki, of New Britain; his sister, Chris Switajewski and her husband, John, of Southington; his nieces and nephews, John Switajewski, Dana Switajewski, Teddy Grecki, Danielle Grecki, Valerie Landon, Michael Landon, and Luann Landon. His funeral services will be held Friday, 9:15 a.m. from the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Burritt Hill.
