I grew up with Jon and I have to say he was an amaizing friend, a true person with the kindest heart. I found out the tragic news just days ago and Im just shocked. Everything happens for a reason but why god would take this man makes no sence to me. Mandie Ive never met you but have seen your picture from our class reunion, I thought to myself, (im so glad that Jon found a new love and damn she's beautiful, good for him!) You are one blessed woman to have had such a wonderful man in your life even if it was a short time, his smile was contagious. Im glad I got to have known him in my life and hope to someday meet you. I have such fond memories of Jon growing up in the same town. Eric, Jon and I were often riding our bicycles somewhere in Marlborough as children. Jon was truly a good friend. I worked with Jon at IGA in East Hampton when we were in high school. I cried when I read of his passing. I will always remember him with a smile on his face and his outgoing spirit. I cried a tear for a friend that I haven't seen in years. I went to school with Jon and just heard of this today and can't stop thinking and wondering how something so terrible can happen to such a wonderful person. I don't know know his wife and children, but can honestly say that I know from experience that he will truely and always be with you in all that you do and experience in the rest of your life. I can clearly remember the first time I met Jon while working at Little People when Hayden was an infant. He was an amazing father to his children and always looked with such love at his wife. Mandie, Jackie, Andy, and family..I was devastated to hear of the sudden passing of Jon. I still cannot believe its true. Jon was an employee of mine for over 15 years, he was my golf buddy, and most of all, he was a great friend. I'll never forget his great smile, especially when he talked about his family which he loved so much. He also had that great smile when he hit a golf ball straight and far. When we played, the goal was to try and beat Jon. At our level of play, he was the one to beat.
Another great pleasure Jon had was arranging outings for his co-workers and friends, such as Billiards Nights, Golf Outings, Poker Nights, etc. When Jon was there and you missed a shot, he was always one to help out and encourage you how to improve and have a good time. Jon was truely special. He was taken from us way too soon. Jon will be sorely missed by me, and the entire crew at Capitol.

To Jon's family:
I can't even begin to imagine how sad you all must feel. I am so sorry. I just saw Mandie not too long ago and she talked about having a new baby - a boy finally. It is so sad that he had to leave so soon. Keep peace in knowing that he is an angel watching over all of you now and coaching from heaven! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you - he was a great man and will be missed by everyone he touched.

Dear Mandie, Ashley, Brittney, Hayden and Casey,
I am so sorry about the devistating news of Jon's passing. He will be missed tremendously by his family, friends and community. It was just a few days ago when I saw him last. With his big welcoming smile and hug it was like no time had passed since we had last seen each other. He had a way of making anyone and everyone around him happy. I will miss his friendship and treasure his memory forever. Jon loved you and his children...you were his everything. Please take comfort in that you will not only be in mine but everyones thoughts and prayers. Jon touched many lives and it will be an honor to celebrate his life forever.
