Jose Coy Obituary

COY, Dr. Jose Luis Dr. Jose Luis Coy, of Weymouth Ct., Baltimore, MD 21212 died on Friday, (December 30, 2005). Beloved husband of Susanna Peters Coy, Ph.D. and devoted brother of Remedios, Maria Victoria, Agustin, Antonio, Javier, Juan Jose, Eresto Coy-Ferrer, all of Spain and the late Gabriel and Clotide Coy-Ferrer. Dear brother-in-law of Joseph E. Peters and Martha P. Tomm. Also survived by 29 nieces and nephews. Dr. Coy was the former Department Chairman of Medievil, Modern and Classical Languages at the University of Connecticut. Friends may call at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc., 6500 York Road (at Overbrook) TODAY from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Service of the Liturgy will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 3, at 10 a.m. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, 4701 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210.
