Dear Nancy & the entire Campisi Family,
Diane & I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you and the entire Campisi family on the great loss of your husband, father, brother, grandchildren & extended members of the Campisi family. Joe is now in heaven with our loving God, no more suffering & pain. May your soul rest in peace. Joe was my best friend and soul mate, we both went through good & bad times, but we some how survived. I have known Joe for more then 70 years. I vividly remember my father, the permittee of Pulaski Democratic Club on Grove St. in New Britain, Ct. getting us our first gig, playing for four hours. We knew how to play six polkas and played them over and over again, the dancers loved them and they even paid us both $20.00 each, that was great money at the time for 14 year old kids in 1952. Joe & Nancy, Diane & myself had fun in attending all the area concerts together ever spring, summer & fall. The last few years were spent having coffee-an., at McDonald's in Berlin, Ct. chatting and swapping stories and even some off-color jokes, some Italian & polish. All your friends at McDonald's are going to miss your smiling face. My wife & I will not be able to attend your funeral service next Saturday Jan. 20th, however we will be there in our mind & heart. Take care of yourself. We will see you when we get back from Florida in May.
All our love,
Richie & Diane Rutkowski

Cousin Joe was my God Father. Many fond memories watching him practice with his accordion, guitar and trumpet at his house. He videotaped my stag party too which I continue to watch from time to time. He will be greatly missed. I did have the pleasure of talking with him a few weeks ago. Our deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with Nancy, Laurie and Lisa and to their families as well.
