Joseph GALLO Obituary

GALLO, Joseph T. Joseph T. Gallo, 56, formerly of New Britain, passed away Thursday (November 12, 2009), with his wife and daughters at his side. He was born in New Britain a son of the late Mario and Mary (Baldino) Gallo. He was a self employed jack of all trades. He always cherished the many memories that he had of the time he spent in Old Lyme at the beach house with his special friends. We would like to offer a special thanks to our family and friends that helped us in any way throughout the difficult time of his illness. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Deborah (Torello) Gallo, his loving daughters, Gina and Christina Gallo of Bristol; his brother, Michael and his wife Judy of Berlin; his sister, Phyllis; his mother-in-law Helen Torello of New Britain; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Walter Wohlfert of Rocky Hill; and his many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, 9 a.m., from the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial 10 a.m., St. Ann's Church. Debbie, Gina and Chrissy,
I am so sorry to hear of Joey's passing. As you know Dick and I loved him like a brother, I remember all the good times we had dancing together at the reunion at the VFW hall and how he was always smiling and hugging his friends. I respected him because you and the girls always came first. We will miss him and always think of him.
God bless you and the girls
Love,
Jo and Dick Moreno

Debbie, Gina and Chrissy - May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Their words will help comfort you but only time can help ease the pain. And with each obstacle you accomplish it does become easier. Love to all of you and I wish I could have been there
