My Uncle Armand, as my mom called him, so I did too, was the most elegant and charming man. As a child, I remember him: tall and handsome, strong and warm. He welcomed the company of my two brothers and me, unruly as you know children can be.
I remember him fondly from my childhood trips to Connecticut and how he made his sisters laugh, my mom, Beatrice, and my aunt, Fleurange. I still hear Aunt Fleurange's laugh after, of course, Uncle Armand told a story in his silky, low voice.
He served in the military, and we should never forget all those who carry the burden of protecting our country, at some detriment to their own lives and families, whether then or now.

My husband and I will truly miss Joe. He was a blessing in our daughter's life, who is also a resident at Parkridge. He definitely brought joy to her life, and truly a good listener. One was always guaranteed to get a beautiful smile and hello from Joe.
