Joseph A. Langlais

Joseph A. Langlais, 80, of Hartford, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Hartford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Caparella) Langlais for 54 years. Joseph was born in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada, the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Rioux) Langlais, resided in Waterbury prior to moving to Hartford. Joseph was a pillar of the Our Lady of Sorrows Church, a member of the Parkville Senior Center and very active in the Parkville neighborhood. Joseph proudly served in the United States Air Force. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Edward Langlais of Kansas, his daughters Katherine Nedeau and her husband John of Newington, and Lori-Ann Hickey and her husband John of Wethersfield, his brother Germain Langlais of Naugatuck, his grandchildren, John Gregory Nedeau, Jacob Hickey, twins, Madison and Jordan Hickey, and predeceased twins, Morgan and Taylor Nedeau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His family would like to thank the Angels at Avery Heights, Hartford Hospital Emergency Room and the Hartford Hospital ICU. A Memorial Mass for Joseph will be celebrated at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
