He was born in New Britain and was the son of the late Salvatore and Constance Navarro. Joe attended local schools and was a graduate of EC Goodwin Technical School; he proudly served in the Navy and retired as a General Foreman from Fafnir Bearing Co. He was also a member of the Polish American Club in Newington. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His warm smile and gentle humor will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 44 years, Carolyn (Marcinczyk) Navarro and their two sons with their spouses, James and Dianne Navarro of Middletown; Scott and Christine Navarro of Plymouth, MA; and three grandchildren who he adored, Emma, Dante and Ava who lovingly called him grandpa Joe. He is also survived by his sister, Rose Conte and her husband, Paul of Plainville; and his sister in law, Barbara Power and her husband, George of Fairhaven, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
