I knew Judy (as she was way back) when we were elementary school. Actually we considered ourselves best friends. A slight estrangement in junior high and then hung out throughout high school. As young women, we shared an apartment in Bloomfield, CT when she was working for Harry Fleisher's and I did retail at G Fox. I happened on her obituart by sheer chance; I hadn't seen her in over 30 years; hadn't talked in over 25. I knew her parents, the wonderful Lee and Leonard and her brothers. We had wonderful times together. I've thought about her often over the years we hadn't stayed in touch. Judith was fun, savvy, appreciated the absurd and damn smart. She was the wittiest person I knew and had a beautiful alto voice that provided the harmony when we sang songs from what is now considered the American songbook....I wish we had the chance to make up for lost time, but I will hold on to the memories of our youth. To those who shared her life, my condolences.

Judith (as she preferred to be called) was the baby of my Leeds' cousins. Her passing is a sad reminder of the impermanence of life and family.

Judy was a dear member of our family. Our visits were always filled with laughter, humor and love. I will miss her dearly. She will live in our hearts forever.
