I was just told of Yuddy's passing and I wanted to send my deepest condolences. My dad (Mike) loved Yuddy like a brother and I'm sure he was waiting for him along with my mom (Gert) and your mom Ann. They are all together again as they were on earth. Stannard Beach will never be the same with them gone. Yuddy was the greatest and I loved him very much. My sympathy and love to all of you.

Jayne, Susan, Paul, Edie- I attended Yuddy's service yesterday but didn't get a chance to speak to you. My brother and I extend our heartfelt sympathies. My late Dad, Bunny considered Yuddy a good friend and neighbor at Stannard Beach. I can still see him on his bike in the right of way to see what the tide was. He was one of a kind and will be missed.

To Jayne and the Shapiro family, Yuddy was a member of my parents' generation and he looms large in my childhood memories of growing up at Stannard Beach. I remember seeing him dissolved in laughter many times. He will be missed. My deep condolences.

To all the Shapiro Family,
Your father was a big part of our lives with our mother (Stell McCarthy) working for him for so many years. He was always a gentleman and a good friend to her and our family. I remember Mr. and Mrs. Shaprio coming to the house on Christmas and enjoying a laugh and a smile with all of the McCarthys. He will always be remembered with a smile. Our deepest sympathies, The McCarthy Family

My earliest memory of my Cousin Yuddy is as a handsome soldier-in fact, we still have that photo. When I needed a temporary job between college and marriage, he found me one at Consumer Sales. And, it was Yuddy's membership at Temple Beth El that gave us the entry to having our wedding there. My deepest memory is the relationship he had with my father. The koved he bestowed upon my Dad was of the highest level. He always made time for "Uncle Benny", bringing him to his new office or stopping by with a special cigar. A few months ago, surprised by hearing a series of Boston radio ads for Blum Shapiro, I called Yuddy and we shared a few wonderful memories. We send our fondest condolences.
