Julius Weber Obituary

Jules Weber, 86, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away Saturday (July 28, 2001). Born in Springfield, MA, he lived most of his life in New Jersey before retiring to Florida 15 years ago. He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering and was employed as chief engineer at General Manufacturing in Lodi, NJ for over 40 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Helen; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Betty Weber of West Hartford; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Jeffrey Glazer, also of West Hartford; and a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Harry Kobitz of West Palm Beach, FL. He was also known, and loved as, "Poppy" by his grandchildren, Lynne Bouley, Jay Weber, Andrew and Kelly Kirschenbaum, Erica and Garrett Diamond, and Melissa Glazer. He also leaves four great grandchildren, Tori, Dylan, Sarah, and Kayla. He is survived by two sisters, Rae Beim of Verona, NJ, and Ann Cooper-Lazar of Johannesburg, South Africa. He was predeceased by his brother, Dr. Joseph Weber. He will be missed very much by all who knew and loved him. A memorial period will be observed at the home of his daughter, Bonnie Glazer, 38 Orchard Rd., West Hartford, Thursday through Sunday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to The Charles W. Gerstenberg Hospice Center, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407-2387 or the National Parkinson's Foundation, 1501 N.W. 9th Ave., Miami, FL 33136.
