June Bagley Obituary

BAGLEY, June Elizabeth (Packer) June Bagley, beloved wife of Richard Bagley, died on Wednesday, (May 20, 2009) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born June 2, 1935 in Marston Meysey, Wilts, England, she and Richard married on March 1, 1958. They moved to the United States in 1959 and lived throughout the U.S. during his military career, making many friends along the way. In addition to her husband, June is survived by her daughter, Terri and partner Steve Arnold of Bolton; her son, Mike of New Britain; and granddaughters, Lanett and Hannah of Maryland. She also leaves her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Weidlich; Kathleen and husband Warren McKnight; nephews David, Daniel, Darren, and Andrew; nieces Alyson, Karen, and Sandra; and many other loving family members and friends. She will be missed by all for her ability to openly love and care for every life she touched. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 29, in the Chapel of South Congregational Church, 277 Main St., Hartford. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of the hospital for their professional and loving care of June during her illness. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to a charity of your choice.
