ETHERIDGE, Kansas Kansas Etheridge, 85, of Packard St., Bloomfield, departed this life on Saturday, (December 25, 2004) at Hartford Hospital. She was born on March 20, 1919, in Winnsboro, SC. She later moved to New York at an early age where she worked as a seamstress at the Manhattan Coat Factory and later moved to the Greater Hartford area where she resided for the past 52 years. She worked at John Dempsey Hospital where she later retired. She was a member of Walk In The Light Church. She leaves to cherish her memories two brothers, Watis Kelly and James Kelly both of Winnsboro, SC; four sisters, Lula Copeland of Bloomfield, Maggie Neal of Baltimore, MD, Katie Patterson of Raleigh, NC, and Rosa Davis of Winnsboro, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held TODAY, December 29, 7 p.m. with calling hour 6 p.m., Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 222 Barbour St., Hartford. Interment, will be Thursday, December 30, 10 a.m. Mt. View Cemetery, Bloomfield. Arrangements are entrusted to Fuqua Funeral Services, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield.
