SANISLO, Kathleen D. Kathleen D. (McCloskey) Sanislo, 57, of Windsor, beloved wife of Eugene Scott Sanislo, died unexpectedly Monday (December 11, 2006) at home. Born in Hartford on August 8, 1949, daughter of the late Paul R. and Gladys E. (Maynard) McCloskey she had lived in Enfield and Ludlow, MA, before moving to Windsor several years ago. She graduated from Enfield High School and received a degree in nursing from Springfield Technical Community College. Kathy was a Registered Nurse and was employed by the American Red Cross. Loving Mother and Grandmother (meme) who was her Granddaughters' "Best Friend". Compassionate, Caring and Generous with her love for others, even those she didn't know. Kathy enjoyed volunteering her time through the Red Cross, Church, and in the community. In addition to her husband she leaves a daughter, Michelle and her husband, Christopher Parisan of Enfield; two sisters, Margaret Truehart of Ludlow, MA and Paula McCloskey of Warehouse Point; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Isabella Parisan of Enfield and Scott's parents, Eugene and Astrid Sanislo of Trumbull. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Timothy, Paul and Linda. We will all miss you and always love you. Funeral service will be held, Saturday, 11 a.m., in Grace Episcopal Church, 311 Broad St., Windsor. Burial will be private. Her family will receive friends, Friday from 6-8 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Memorial donations may be made in Kathy's memory to: The American Red Cross, Pioneer Valley Chapter, 506 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104.
