RADIO, Kathryn (Dutko)
Kathryn (Dutko) Radio, 92, formerly of New Britain, died Monday night at the Alzheimer's Resource Center in Southington. Born in Palmerton, PA, the daughter of the late Wasil and Margaret Dutko, she lived most of her life in New Britain. Along with her husband, the late Michael Radio, she owned and operated the Surrey Liquor Shop in Farmington. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Byzantine Church and the New Britain Music Club. Mrs. Radio is survived by her daughter Cindy and her husband David Smith of Southington; her granddaughter Lori and her husband Patrick Morrill of Brimfield, MA; and a great granddaughter Kathryn Morrill. She was predeceased by her sister Deanna Koniushesky.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Byzantine Church 121 Beaver Street New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Resource Center of Connecticut 1261 South Main St. Southington, CT.
