My last birthday with you

Kimber

June 13, 2018

Hey Daddy, its been almost 5 years and each year is hard, it gets harder every year. I still remember my last birthday with you, out to the CT river on your bike, only a few months before the accident. That year you and I were the closest we've ever been and I will forever cherish that. I was always a daddies girl, and will always be your little girl. Been listening to this song lately called You should be here. It's whats on my heart, rings true for me,.. "You should be here, standing with your arm around me here, Cutting up, cracking a cold beer,Saying cheers, hey y'all it's sure been a good year,It's one of those moments, that's got your name written all over it,And you know that if I had just one wish it'd,Be that you didn't have to miss this,You should be here" Though I know your still watching over me and I know the biggest thing you wanted was for me to be happy and I am doing my best to do that,for both of us and I know I made you proud even when I struggled. I know how much you love me, and I love you just as much. I thank you for the good years we did have, the memories that I will never forget and the ones I pray to remember some day. I can still remember your laugh, and it always brightened the room. Thank you for giving me life, and even further thank you for sharing your feelings and your heart with me. You were always my personal warrior, thank you for fighting for me and never letting me go. You were the glue for me, but I think you knew that.
I know I will see you again Daddy,...
"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand."
God holds both of us so were halfway there.
Your little girl, always and forever,..

Rhonda Barber

To my husband, although we may have not seen eye to eye on things I know that we both loved each other. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. You taught me alot of good things and showed me alot of places I never seen. So until I lay down by your side again, I will cherish all that we had. I Love You Kenny.

I'm lost for word's. I've known Kenny ever since I can remember. We grew up together. We played baseball through Little League and Babe Ruth. We were never on the same team, but it was great competition. He was very competive. By the time we were in high school, I concidered him to be my best friend. I still do even though we have not talked in year's. We shared in a lot of good times and sometimes not so good. he was always there when I needed him most. Kenny was always the one I could count on. A true friend! As time passed we lost touch, each busy with our own families. I wish now I had kept in touch. life is to short. I'm going to miss him. Mr. and Mrs. Barber and family, There's no word's to express the sorrow I feel in my heart today. I have lost a dear friend, but there is no greater loss then one's child. My deepest heart felt condolences to both of you and your family. Kenny will be missed dearly here on earth. His spirit will live on in those who knew and loved him. In Heaven trumpits are sounding, Angels singing. They're all rejoicing for he has come home! I will continue to keep your family in our prayer's. May God Bless the both of you and your family! In our Lord Jesus Precious name!

To the Barber Family, I went all through school with Kenny 1st -12th grades. I remember in 2nd grade his dad picking him up and taking him for allergy shots. I told Kenny this one time and he laughed and he could not believe I remembered that. He was such a great guy and he is going to be missed by all that knew him. My Sincere Sympathy to his entire family.
