Kenneth Richards Obituary
Kenneth Richards, 70, of New Hartford, passed away on Oct. 4th from a heart attack. He was born in Hartford, son of Lena and Kenneth. Ken was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. After 44 years as a union painter, he retired in 2010. He was a devoted son to Lena, now 98, husband to Doraine for 50 years, father to Glen and Matthew, and grandfather to Joseph and Olivia. He also leaves a brother, Mark, 2 aunts, nieces, a nephew, and cousins. Ken loved nature (birds, animals), hikes in People's Forest, fishing, and for the last 7 years - gold panning with his wife. It was a great joy for him to help his sons, attend Joseph's basketball/soccer games, and play with Olivia. He is sorely missed by all. His father, brother John, and sister Gail predeceased him. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made on www.gofundme.com - search All 4 Olivia.
