GERHART, Kevin T.
Kevin T. Gerhart, 50, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away January 23, 2013, at home after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. The youngest of five boys, he is survived by his mother, Patricia C. Kilbourn of Canton, his beloved daughter, Emily Gerhart of Chandler, AZ, brothers Jeffrey Gerhart of Unionville, Michael Gerhart of Eagle Lake, FL, Rick Gerhart of Las Vegas, NV and Steve Mies of Fremont, CA. Kevin was born in Hartford on Dec. 26, 1962 and attended schools in West Hartford and Avon. He served proudly in the Marines and survived the Beiruit, Lebanon bombing in 1983. Kevin was a true free spirit with an infectious smile who lived his life on his terms, one day at a time.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a future date.

Kevin was a very close friend of mine. I also lived on burr street. He taught me a lot sports wise & I remember going bowling on sundays with him & his dad. Only good memories. R.IP. Kev. John

My memory of Kevin was when he returned from Marine Boot Camp in Paris Island. I was chomping at the bit to join after he got back and told me and a friend, Greg Scharin what it was like. You were a good man Kevin and I hope your troubles are all behind you! Rest in Peace.
