I look back at all the fun times we had as kids at the Ege Family Reunions, and his trip to Texas to see us, it makes me smile! I wish that we had been better about keeping in touch! I am so very proud to say Kyle is my cousin, he accomplished so much! I know nothing I say can change how much it hurts but know that you are in my prayers and that Kyle will be missed! I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Kris and Scott: I only learned of Kyle's passing away yesterday when I attended the PAC Holiday Party at Wesleyan. I retired from Wesleyan Feb. 26, 2003 and since my retirement I have heard of many changes but this news saddened me very much. To lose a child has got to be the most painful happening for any parent to endure. I know that Kyle was your only child. Please know that you are in my prayers at this time. Only time and your love for each other and your love for Kyle and memories of him will give you the strength to survive this tragedy. My heart goes out to you both.
With deepest sympathy,
Karen Sward

I try to think back to everything that we shared together as kids and all I can do is smile. Kyle was the closest thing I ever had to a brother, and he never, never failed to make me laugh (and never stopped trying). I love you, Kris and Scott, and I'm so, so sorry.

I remember through the years how Sarah and Kyle used to brag about who was taller, up until Kyle hit his teens and there was no more competition! I remember watching Kyle play baseball at HK. I remember how proud I was of him at his going away party, and how worried I was when he was in Iraq. And most of all I remember his joy at becoming a father. Such a loss for all of us. My heart goes out to you.

Scott & Kris -
I remember Kyle from the time we were children all trying to fit into Grandma & Grandpa's small study during boisterous family gatherings. I regret that as adults many of the cousins drifted apart. I'll always hold a special place in my heart for that smiling boy I knew. My soul cries for you during this time. Kyle's memory will not be forgotten. God Bless.
