MARKS, Lenore E. Lenore E. Marks, 84, wife of the late Frederick Marks, formerly of West Hartford, died Saturday, (February 26, 2005) at her home. Born in Hartford, the daughter of the late John and Susan Egan, she made her home in West Hartford for 47 years. Lenore was employed at the Hartford Times in the advertising department and was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, West Hartford. She is survived by her two children, Greg Marks and his wife, Shannon of Middletown, Patricia Marks of Hartford; a sister, Patricia Kelly of West Hartford; a grandson, James Marks of New Britain; and a granddaughter, Ashley Supernault. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, West Hartford. Burial will follow in the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown. Calling hours are Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Connecticut, 33 North Plains Industrial Rd., Wallingford, CT 06492. My condolences on the death of Lenore. She and Fred were very kind to me when I worked in the Classified Advertising Department at the Times for my father, Paul Fichtner, and in the National Advertising Department for Jim Stewart.
