Linda Crosson Obituary

Linda Crosson, 65, of Cromwell, passed away on April 10th, 2019. She is survived by her husband Scott; daughters Kim Lewkowicz and her husband Shad, Kelly and her husband Nate, and Kori; granddaughters Kaitlin and Brooke; and pets Brooklyn and Pea Soup.
Linda, one of seven children, was born in 1954 in Kittery, Maine. She met her future husband, Scott, on a blind date, and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage together. Linda enjoyed working at Fox Meadows in Cromwell and Consignment Originals in Rocky Hill, where she made many close friends. Above all else, Linda loved her family, and her greatest joy in life was raising her three daughters. (Full disclosure: it's us writing this.) She filled our lives with French braids, books, gingerbread men, handwritten notes, tea parties, and white turtlenecks. She gave us all the opportunities she never had, loved us unconditionally, and made our lives so fun.
Mom was full of surprises and knew how to make the small moments matter. She made friends with strangers, loved giving gifts for no reason, and played more practical jokes than any adult we've ever met. She was humble and non-judgmental, naturally accepting people for who they were, and having had a wildly eclectic circle of friends to show for it. She found purpose and meaning in making others happy, especially those who were most in need of her kindness.
In addition to her immediate family, she also leaves behind her father Norman; brother Rodney and his wife Sunhui; sisters Connie and her husband Harrison and Brenda; mother-in-law Barbara; sister-in-laws Joy and her husband Peter, Robin and her husband Stephen; and her adopted family in Maryland, Lisa, Scott, Jennifer, and Tanya; and numerous extended family members and great friends. She is predeceased by her mother Geraldine; her best friend and sister Sue; brothers Tom and Steve; father-in-law Richard; brother-in-law Phil; and pets Miss Kitty, and K.C.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date. We thank you for your condolences and for all of the memories that have been shared with us in the last few weeks. She meant so much to us, and it's wonderful to hear what she meant to so many of you.
Bye for now, Linder. We love you more.

I remember her so well in the back pew of Corpus Christi, usually after bringing some of her baking for the group.
She was as sweet as her confections.
God must have a sweet tooth to have called her to His side.

Aunty Linda will be fondly remembered, terribly missed, and forever in our hearts. I remember our Crosson family holidays and get-togethers where laughter would always inevitably be on the menu, thanks in large part to Aunty Linda. Her joy and zest for life were contagious and refreshing, as she was sure to put a smile on everyone's face who crossed her path. In addition to her smile and sense of humor, her kindness and generosity were unparalleled. She was always willing to jump in and lend a hand when needed, often without even being asked. Aunty Linda put 110% of herself into everything-her job, her hobbies, and most importantly, her family.

Uncle Scott, Kim, Kelly, Kori, Brooke and Kaitlyn, I'm so very, very sorry for your loss <3

Our hearts are broken. Linda was an amazing woman, she was a friend to our family. Having met her at work she soon became a wonderful friend. The kindness she extended to my family through the years will never be forgotten. My children adored her and loved spending time with her. We have so many memories of her laughing and joking with us it will always bring a warm smile to our faces when we think of her. We extended our very deepest sympathies to all of her daughters and granddaughters and Scaught all of whom she endlessly talked about and loved so very much. She touched the lives of so many people bringing them joy and always a helping hand. A true example to follow. She will be sadly missed.
